Welcome to the reluctant sale of my late Fathers 1958 Morris minor pick up ,finished in Maroon B (Green was the original colour and is still stated Green on the V5 logbook)

This Morris was purchased by my Father in 2005 and was then subject to a full nut and bolt restoration by a Morris Minor specialist with no expense spared on this ground up restoration and the end result was one of the best Morris Minor Pick ups available today.(Photos of restoration available)

This stunning Morris Minor Pick up is a rare and unique example due to being an early model and it still retains its original registration number.

This classic pick-up has only covered 1800 miles since the extensive restoration was completed in 2009.

This vehicle has had regular maintenance since the restoration, keeping it in excellent condition and totally reliable.

My Father used this vehicle to attend classic car shows in the North West area and it always had many admirers and compliments.

The Morris has had little use over the past four years and my family have now decided that my Fathers much loved pick-up deserves to be appreciated and enjoyed by the next owner.

During the three year restoration all mechanical parts were stripped and refurbished or replaced with new parts as required .

A fully reconditioned engine was fitted and it has always proved to be totally reliable . The gearbox was sent to a specialist to be checked and any worn parts were replaced before refitting with a new clutch. The rear axle was stripped and cleaned and any seals and gaskets were replaced.

All the braking system has been completely overhauled along with all suspension and steering components and has had regular maintenance since to ensure the pick-up performs and stops well.

A new fuel tank,lines and pump were also replaced and the carburettor overhauled.

The wiring harness was replaced with a new harness and many other electrical items as required.

The chassis and body were stripped back to bare metal to inspect the condition and any corrosion was cut out and replaced with repair panels and repainted to gloss black or body colour. The bodywork has always been kept to a very high standard with plenty of care taken by my Father to keep it in Tip Top condition. The Pick-up was regularly detailed and polished and was dry stored at all times with only ever being used during the summer months.

The interior is in immaculate condition throughout as it was replaced during the restoration with a high quality trim kit from Newton Commercials along with a new canvas roof.

The restoration is now 14 years on but you would not think it . There are some small marks on the body but nothing that detracts from the fantastic condition of this Morris.

It has recently been brought out of storage and just had a service , Engine oil and filter/ Gearbox rear tail seal and oil change/ differential oil change/ rear shoes and brake drums and all grease points lubricated.

This Morris Minor pick up is not to be missed and will make an exceptional classic for any collector to enjoy.

I have used it over the last couple of months with no issues.
