HGV Technician Job Details

Basic Salary: GBP22 Per Hour

Working Hours: Flexible Working Hours

Location: Nationwide - Van provided

For this role you will be required to stay away from home for periods of time, travelling across the country between sites nationwide and providing support to depots where needed across the network. Accommodation and expenses are paid for.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.

Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.

Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.

Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.

Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Staying away from home.

Supporting depots throughout network.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic

Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.

HGV licence is an advantage.

Valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
