1966 (D) MGB Roadster. Gorgeous example of an original Mk1 Roadster. Finished in Tartan Red with complimenting black leather seats with red piping. The car underwent a major restoration in 2008 with new arches and wing panels, doors, front and rear Sebring valance kits, new hood, dashboard, engine strip down and replacement of core plugs, suspension rebuild and complete respray. First registered on 15th November 1966, this is a lovely example of a genuine 1966 MGB Roadster, with an excellent paint finish and original interior. Inside the car you will find black leather seats that have a red piping to contrast the exterior, the seats are in very good order as are the carpets in the vehicle. The hood, which is vinyl fabric, fits and works well.
Mechanically the car starts on the first turn and is fitted with a four speed gearbox along with Overdrive. The running gear is in excellent condition as are the wire wheels that off-set the car and make it stand apart.
The age of the car means it is now exempt from needing an MOT however it has an MOT up to 30th May 2024. Comes with MOT test certificates and service receipts along with a file of invoices and details of the 2008 restoration. The car drives very well and is a fun car to own. It has recently been MOTd without any advisories.
The car is eligible for zero historic road tax making a very cost effective classic to own.
