Very reluctant sale of this excellent condition MG TF 135. Very late 54 plate which makes it one of the very last original MG cars to come out of the factory.

I have put Grey as the colour, as its a dark metallic grey, but not Black.

(I have now been advised that it is 'X Power Grey')

Looks really good in the sun after a wash and polish(would look outstanding with a coat of the new ceramic polish)

Bodywork, wheel arches etc are excellent for a 19 year old car.

Has a few stone chips etc, relevant to a car of this age.

Very low mileage at just over 55,000, with history(will increase slightly as is used occasionally).

MOT until May 2024.

Factory fitted electric tinted windows and electric mirrors, all working. Heater fan works on ALL 4 speeds and gets nice and warm, ideal for the coming seasonal weather.

Interior current with mileage, no rips, tears etc. NEVER been smoked in(the original ashtray looks brand new)

Soft top is fully weatherproof(could do with a clean), no rips or repairs and no leaks into the car, upgraded chrome interior catches. Factory fitted sports dials and pedals, upgraded silver sports switches.

Has the later solid glass rear window, so no issues, with plastic cracking.

Also has the 'window zip' so the rear window can be opened.

Engine is vgc and pulls well in all gears, no knocks or bangs. Very good low end torque.

Head gasket has been done with a composite multilayer replacement.

KN air filter fitted(by previous owner) so sounds very throaty.(can easily be restored to original)

5 speed gearbox, which is very tight with no unnecessary play or whinning, locates gears precisely and smoothly.

Has the later factory fitted sports suspension and uprated brakes with ABS.

FULL Size Spare with AS NEW tyre, also has FULL jack kit.

Also has the OPTIONAL in dash 'cubby box', included but not fitted.

Excellent MPG.

Full factory fitted Thatcham Cat 1 volumetric alarm and immobiliser.

1 remote fob and key, plus extra remote fob that needs resetting(simple process as shown on google search)

Has factory fitted anti theft auto lock, after around 30 seconds.

Has recently taken 2nd place in 'daily user classic'.(missed out on 1st place because it had not been vacuumed or steam cleaned)

Can be insured on a classic car policy.(price dependant on area you live in, current cost £248, fully comp, 2 drivers £0 excess)

Current Insurance accepted replacement valuation @ £2750(valuation agreed using emailed photos), subject to no damage before renewal, already advised this will increase to £3050,(insurance company advised that assessors full visual valuation would have been nearer to £3500).

Certificate insurance value @ £2195.(this should be around £2495 on renewal, subject to no prior damage)

This is a solid investment as good examples are fetching well over £2995, with some nearer and over £4k.

(I know of 1 MG F(88,000miles) & 1 MG TF(76,000miles), the condition of both of them was nowhere near as good as this one, the F sold for £2200 and the TF sold for £2680.

Neither of them included the extra FULL set if alloys and tyres, which would cost around £400-£500 to buy seperately.

If the purchaser does not want the extra set of alloys I will reduce the CASH SALE price for the car to £1750.

These cars are continually increasing in value DAILY, and will only continue to increase in value as the availability dwindles.

I will leave it insured and taxed so that the new owner will be able to drive it home.

Has very recently developed a small blow on the exhaust.

I checked this as its a recent new rear exhaust, the reason for the 'blow' is that they did not put any exhaust sealing paste between the joint.

I have some exhaust paste so will try and sort this or give the buyer the paste to re-seal the joint.
