JLR & Tata Group Battery Programme background :
To accelerate their progress towards achieving a cleaner, greener, and carbon neutral world, they have formed a new Tata Group Synergies team which will focus on leveraging the opportunities and world leading capabilities within energy, technology, communication, and software that exist within the Tata Group. Enabling them to capitalise on these opportunities, they are building a Tata Group Synergies project team to develop our strategic approach to battery supply working across multiple organisations, both inside and outside the group.
This role will initially be part of Tata Technologies but will be permanently transferred to a new UK company during 2023 where the project teams from across JLR, Tata Motors, and Tata Technologies will be united in a new, innovative, and transformational business.

Project Manager MEP - Consultancy Background
This role will be part of the capital delivery project management team accountable for implementing the buildings and infrastructure programmes required to support JLR & Tata Group Battery Programmes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage capital delivery projects and work packages to deliver their intended outputs and outcomes in a safe way, to the right quality, on schedule and to cost; from requirements definition through to facility readiness.Lead and motivate the project team throughout the project.Develop, promote and maintain a safety culture to deliver excellent health and safety performance that meet targets on allocated projects.Build strong relationships and work closely with leadership teams to ensure that delivery meets the needs of stakeholders.Support planning activities with key stakeholders to define the projects, including input to financial and resource planning.Ensure application of specifications and standards as required.Ensure appropriate monitoring and controlling of projects' performance and provide timely and accurate data reporting.Make timely decisions to ensure project success.Manage and resolve any risks and other issues that may arise.Manage communications with stakeholders, project team members and contractors.Ensure compliance with corporate governance as required.Secure all necessary permits, licenses and consents to enable project delivery.Accurate estimation and predictability of programme costs and timing.Cost efficiency / VfM (Value for Money) of the work packages and projects within the build programme.Delivery of agreed Safety, Quality, Time and Cost outcomes.Delivery of the required build outputs to enable the required outcomes to allow the programme to realise its intended benefits.Evaluate and implement lessons learned and continuous improvement.Profile
Specific Role Experience:
Consultancy background a Must - Design OR PM experience Experience of large scale technical projects.Mechanical or Electrical background strongly desirable.Manage stakeholders and deliverables associated with large MEP packages.Challenge technical assumptions to reach the optimum solutions for the projectEnsure deliverables and risk are achieved within the project timescalesBachelors degree in a relevant fieldJob Offer
