Remote First - with travel in Northwest England

Are you passionate about inspiring positive change? Do you have the compassion and commitment to make a positive, lasting impact on those in our society most needing help?
If the answer to both questions is a resounding 'yes', then The Wise Group is offering you the opportunity to enhance the lives of people on probation through relational mentoring.
As one of our Mentors on an exciting programme partnered with the Ministry of Justice and other third-sector delivery partners, you will provide a mentoring service for adult males across the Northwest. In this service, working hand in hand with probation and prison staff, you'll take a holistic approach to help individuals to address their finance, benefit & debt issues.
At the Wise Group, we take a compassionate approach to Relational Mentoring. Through this approach, we invest in the success of other people. As a Mentor, you'll help individuals reveal the right pathway for them rather than telling them what to do.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is customer-focused and values working with people who may be challenging and have complex needs. You'll be working directly with a caseload of customers who need help, advice and guidance to improve their circumstances.
This role is very much for self-starters who are comfortable taking responsibility proactively but can judge when to seek support and advice from their Team Leader or other parts of the enterprise.
You will also work collaboratively with partner organisations and other external stakeholders to maximise the opportunity to enhance customers' lives.
Access to transport is an advantage for applicants, but the most important criteria is the desire and ability to help and support some of the most vulnerable members of society.
If this sounds like you, and you would like to learn more, we would love to hear from you.
