Level 3 Childcare Professional – Mental Health Support

We are currently seeking a qualified Level 3 childcare professional to join our team and play a key role in supporting children with SEMH needs in a specialised school provision.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to students with SEMH needs.Collaborate with school staff to implement mental health interventions and strategies.Foster a safe and supportive environment for student's emotional well–being.Work closely with other professionals, including psychologists and therapists.Contribute to the development and implementation of tailored support plans. Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.Proven experience working with children, especially those with SEMH needs.Strong understanding of mental health support strategies.Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
