Classic Gents Raleigh chiltern town bike. Manufactured from British chromoly steel in 1991. One of the last manufactured in the UK priot to manufacting being moved to China. Has been garaged and dry stored for the majority of its life. Overall in very good condition. No rust to frame, some small chips and original patina. Finished in factory painted gloss black. Has original rear pannier in chrome and side stand. Can also include rear pannier bags and a set of LED front and rear lights. All original chromework in exceptional condition considering its age. Chain has been removed for detailed cleaning and re oiling (chain not currently fitted as wanted to give new owner opportunity to upgrade to a newer one). All cables have been oiled. Bearings nice and tight. Will possibly require a new front wheel hub or wheel (see last photo) as there is a fine crack in the front hub cup. Nevertheless, this can be sourced online relatively cheaply. A very desirable bike that is rapidly becoming rarer to find. Please note measurements of frame.
