A Russell Group University in London is looking for an interim Media Relations Manager to join the team from the beginning of January for 3 months.

Description

Deliver impactful PR and media communications.Business as usual communications as well as proactive/reactive media.Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and stakeholders.Collaborative working with the wider external relations directorate. Profile

Background in public sector or higher education communications desirable.Excellent day to day media handling.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly.Ability to get stuck into BAU as well as strategy.Demonstrable background in media relations/press. Job Offer

3 month contract.Start 2nd week of Jan 2024.Day rate role PAYE or Umbrella.GBP40,000 - GBP48,000 dependent on experience.Hybrid working.
