Mechanical Shift Engineer – Salary up to GBP40,000 per annum

Trevett Services are working on behalf of a UK National FM provider who are looking to bring on a Mechanical Shift Engineer to work on this Static site in Manchester.

This is a full time, permanent role working on a day shifts only shift pattern between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00hrs. The shift pattern is as follows–

3 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 3 days off, 2 days on – Repeat

Shift 1 – 5 Days work

Shift 2 – 2 Days work

Then repeat every 2 weeks – Total of 7 days worked in a 2–week period

Carry out PPM's and reactive maintenance across site as required, carrying out fault diagnosisWork on HV and LV distribution systems (including generators) in a safe, efficient and effective manner at several key buildings in the Manchester areaUndertake fault finding, investigation and reactive repairs to a variety of different types of installations & associated Plant roomsTo work to set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained, ensuring reliability of the Plant and associated Mechanical systems on siteCarry out technical surveys of the above services and systems and minor installation work Qualifications Required:

Experience in a similar environment ideally critical environment.City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 / NVQ Level 2 Mechanical / PlumbingCity & Guilds 2391/5 Test & Inspect (Desired)Experience in Mechanical aspects of general building PPM schedulesPrior experience with permits to work.PASMA/IPAF certified.Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
