Experience with complex equipment would be advantageous but not essential.The successful Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling complex mechanical surface science instrumentation equipment - full product training will be provided. You will work to ISO9001 and 13485 standards with clean areas, UHV clean and electro polishing.The company also offer regular overtime to those looking to boost their earnings, with up to approximately 4 hours available within the week, and up to 4 hours available on a Saturday morning.The Mechanical Fitter Role: Build and assembly of parts and assemblies to drawing standards Verification of parts Low level wiring of parts and assemblies Adhere to product specific procedures Complete quality records Raise NCR/DCR for problems and failures when requiredThe Mechanical Fitter Candidate: Mechanical fitting / assembly experience from any industry Experience working on precision instruments Working with Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) would be beneficial
