We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team. Based in the West Midlands, you will benefit from a starting salary of 45,000 (Depending on Experience), Hybrid work options, overseas travel and Flexible working. The company operates globally engaging with a constantly expanding market.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
The design and development of mechanical applications and requirements.Performing computer simulations and experiments to support the designs.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.Liaise with internal and external designers, engineers, and manufacturers.Conduct research to inform the design and engineering methods required for mechanical systems.To be a successful Mechanical Design Engineer you will have:
Qualified to a degree level in either HND/HNC within an engineering discipline5 years industrial experience.Proficiency in the use of 2D/3D CAD - Preferably Solidworks or Inventor.Experience using FEA and Stress Analysis.Good understanding of GD&T.Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods such as Sheet metal, machining, welding and fabrication.Knowledge of engineering materials.As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will receive an excellent benefits package which includes:
