My client; a manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team in Kidderminster.

The Mechanical Design Engineer position; would suit a Graduate mechanical engineer with a focus on design.

The Role of the Mechcanial Design Engineer

Will assist in the development of new products and maintaining the designs, drawings and product documentation of existing group products. Ensuring adherence to legal compliance of machinery and associated adherence to health and safety legislation The Mechanical Design Engineer will be involved in the building and testing of new designs and prototypes as development projects require. You will be experienced in using AutoCAD, and would prefer knowledge of Solidworks. Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC or above) Competent in design and development and able to produce drawings and models of both existing and new products. Any hands on, practical assembly experience would be advantageous to have appreciation for the production processes A positive attitude with a willingness to progress and grow with the company This role is based full time at the office and is an excellent opportunity to join a well establish forward thinking profitable business.
