Basildon Salary-Circa GBP35kMonday-Friday The company:Based in South Essex, you will be joining a purpose-built design and engineering premises for chemical manufacturing feeding into a wide range of industries. Due to continuous growth and expansion of the premises, they are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician.As a Mechanical Technician, you will be tasked with assisting in the machining,Manufacturing and build-up of enclosures, equipment, and machinery on the factory floor.Essential duties and responsibilities:

Fitting & Assembly work on the factory floorTesting of manufactured and built machinery.Testing and fault-finding of Pneumatic logic circuitsAssisting with the assembly, commissioning, and service support work on customer sites. This is just a summed-up list of responsibility and other duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:

Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Previous experience in mechanical assembly and machiningAbility to work to engineering drawings and specifications.Ideally, you will have experience of pneumatics and on-site installation.
