Role overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler for this hands–on role in the preparation and assembly of component parts into finished 'system elements'. This requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to handle and control large components manufactured to high tolerances.
Roles and Responsibilities
Safely prepare component parts to required quality standards before assembling into 'system elements', using a variety of hand, power, and precision engineering tools.Manual handling of component parts and assembliesCorrectly interpret component and assembly drawingsIdentify and report substandard quality products.This role offers training to cover specific needs and may require travel for installation work at customer sites. Mechanical assembly skills, an understanding of the requirements of hydraulics being ideal.More than 2 years assembly experience with high–value/low–volume component parts working in a precision engineering environment.Practical use of hand, power, and precision engineering tools. Qualifications
Apprenticeship or equivalent
