Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a privately owned family business formed in 1947; a national M&E provider with an outstanding reputation for delivering excellent levels of service. Who currently employ over 800 staff and have a turnover in excess of GBP160m. Due to contract growth my client is currently looking for experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join there growing team working from either Cambridge or Norwich office.

The right candidate will be working closely with the project management team, and be responsible for the assisting in the provision of M&E surveying services and provide expert advice on all commercial aspects of construction projects including management of costs and contractual matters.

Job Role

Estimating and cost planning. Procurement advice. Contract administration and cost control Work with clients on variations to the contract. Cost reporting and final account preparation. Work closely with Project Managers, attend meetings and undertake site visits. To have knowledge and understanding of the workplace health and safety regulations. Strong M&E back ground Excellent numeracy and data analysis skills Effective communication skills Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines Demand for this role will undoubtedly be high and interviews will be arranged very soon.
