In excellent condition throughout, apart from a couple of minor scrapes on bodywork as expected for a vehicle this age but it really doesn't effect the overall great condition and look of the van.
Drives superb, gears change flawlessly and steering is fantastic and effortless. I have always loved driving this van...more than my car!!!
The interior is all in excellent condition with 2 cupboards above the kitchen, another large cupboard under the sink, a large cupboard under the worktop and a small wardrobe to the rear aside the back seat. There is also a large storage area under the back seat in the living area of the van and another large area in the boot.
There is a table top that is stored neatly behind the drivers seat. This attaches to a heavy duty metal tube leg which slots easily and firmly into a slot in the floor and is secure and stable.
The backseat pulls out effortlessly to make a comfortable and cosy double bed. The pop top roof goes up electronically simply by pressing and holding a switch. This doubles as a very large sleeping area or extra headroom. The thick canvas has multiple windows which can be unzipped, alternatively it can be unzipped all the way round leaving just the netting so you can really feel like you are sleeping under the stars...but without the bugs getting to you!!
I am the third owner and have had the van for 5 wonderful years but have now upgraded to a larger motorhome.
The van has NEVER let us down. The previous two owners took immaculate care of this van as we have. We have always looked after it both mechanically and aesthetically and have had some truly wonderful times in it. The furthest we have travelled in it was to the far south east of Poland - we drove over 1000 miles in 1 day and the van felt lilke it could easily do another 1000 miles straight away! All in all we covered about 3000 miles in the round trip without any issues.
The van always starts first time every time on the first turn of the key, even in the coldest winter months.
We will be very sad to say goodbye as you do get attched to these little homes on wheels but hope it goes to new owners that will enjoy and appreciate it as much as we have.
* Since moving it back to London someone has reversed into the bikerack pushing the bars upwards slightly which caused a small crack in the roof - very minor and does not let water through to the inside. Price lowered to reflect this.
