My story

　　Hello there humans! My name's Maverick or Mav for short. I'm a 5-6 years old Shepherd mix and I'm such a good boy. I'm crate trained and potty trained and I get along great with kids. My family had to return me for no fault of my own, because they are in the military and moved overseas. I don't play with other dogs much, so dog parks aren't my jam, but I like to greet them on walks and I'd be good as an only dog or having a doggie sibling that enjoys a little space too. Cats are a no for me. I am a big guy and love to play fetch or with toys, so having a yard would be best. I'm such a smart boy with medium energy. My foster family takes me on a daily short walk, provides me toys, and throws the ball a few times per day in the backyard and I am good. I walk well on a leash and I come when called. I also enjoy looking out the window and taking naps. What's not to love? Do you think you could give me some love and a soft place to lay my head? I would be so grateful and the most loyal companion. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
