Our Client in the Wigan area is looking for Production Operatives to work in a busy manufacturing environment.

Duties:

Selection, weighing & mixing of ingredients for further processing Cleaning of mixers & hoppers before and after each batch Ensuring the workplace is clean, safe & tidy Accurate recording of products produced for shift traceability

Main duties include packing products (non food) in a timely manner, mixing & weighing products, manual handling of boxes up to 25kg as well as some other general warehouse work as & when required.

The role invoices working with powder coating and can get quite dusty (PPE provided)

Personal Requirements: -

It is essential that the candidate has previous experience of working 6-2, 2-10 & 8-6 shift pattern in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with prior experience in a similar manufacturing position essential. Candidates to have a recognised qualification in Maths & English Previous warehouse & manufacturing experience would be advantageous. Training shift pattern -8am-5pm Monday to Friday

Shift Times are on a 3 weekly rotation outlined below:

Week 1: AM Shift - Monday-Friday 6am-2.30pm

Week 2: Night Shift - Monday-Thursday 8pm-6am

Week 3: PM Shift - Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

Flexibility with the shifts is needed and there will be opportunities to work overtimes. Will include some weekend overtime, that all staff will need to work on occasions

This will be regular work and may lead to a full time position within the company.
