Our client are seeking an Electrical Inspector to work as part of their Manufacturing Team. It is a very exciting time to join them at their state of the art Bolton Manufacturing facility.
You will be responsible for all elements necessary to achieve and maintain the quality of deliverable hardware.
The Role:
Certify the product in line with the product certification procedureExamining for correct assembly, including the verification of all forms of electrical connectionsExamining the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces etc.Intermediate inspection checks non product certification activitiesCheck, complete and certify all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data packControl defect items via segregation from good productRaise and maintain relevant data records/defect reportsProduce relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheetsCare for and use specialised inspection toolsMaintain product certification and approval via regular auditsEnsure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
Requirements:
Formal technical engineering / craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 / TR23 / TR21 is a mandatory requirementProven and demonstrable experience as a skilled personPlanning and organising skillsMust demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and commitment to work as part of a team to deliver the businessMust possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasksIPC 610 certified / trained preferred
