Manufacturing Business Analyst

We are recruiting an experienced Business Analyst to join an established global manufacturing company based in Basildon.

Your Responsibilities:

Thoroughly understanding the operational IT systems of the business Interrogating and analysing these systems Performing financial analysis on the outputs of such systems and present findings to all levels of the business Using data modelling techniques to identify ways in which the company can operate more effectively Working with heads of departments to understand their specific reporting requirements and then turn these requirements into reality Creating dashboards along with standardised daily, weekly and monthly reports for heads of departments Recommendations for best practice within the field Being pro-active in anticipating the business needs in terms of financial analysis and reporting Delivering insights to support potential areas of growth, optimisation, and improvements. Explore different solutions, their risks, benefits and impacts Ability to identify the source of errors and provide outstanding problem-solving capabilities Requirements:

Previous experience as a Finance / Business Analyst working within a manufacturing / production environment. A part qualified Accountant either by qualification or experience or studying towards an accounting qualification with practical experience of working in Industry. Strong SQL & database skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills Highly numerate with an analytical mindset and strong attention to detail Understanding of business-critical tools and associated processes ERP, CRM A people person with the ability to communicate at all levels Ability to work as part of cross functional teams, be highly collaborative, inquisitive and eager to learn Willing to take on responsibility, use initiative and work well within a team What s in it for you:
