Husqvarna Newton Aycliffe are looking to recruit a number of Manufacturing Apprentices on a starting salary of GBP24,619.32, to specialise in production of batteries.
We are looking for people who will play a key role in the future of the company and want to develop a career within Husqvarna as multi skilled operator.
This is an exciting 12–month opportunity of developing skills in Lean Manufacturing with the opportunity of developing a long–term career in the organisation. The ideal candidate will be hard working, motivated to do well and have a desire to gain a permanent contract with Husqvarna, after successful completion of the 12–month training programme.
Knowledge and Experience Required
Previous experience carrying out high volume and repetitive tasks or able to demonstrate the ability to carry out such task is preferred.To be aware of company's procedures and follow them accordingly, specifically ensuring that Health and Safety is of paramount importance. Previous ESD control knowledge/experience would be advantageous.Displays good time efficiency and supports the team to achieve targetsDependable and flexible individual able to follow instructions well and be willing to adapt to company requirements. Functional Skills Maths and English Level 1 or GCSE grades A– C / 4 or above. Hours of work
39 Hours2 shift pattern.Overtime may also be required on occasion, including weekends. Lean Manufacturing Operative (LMO) Apprenticeship
A Lean Manufacturing Operative will be expected to carry out their work safely and meet the standards demanded in a fast–paced working environment.
