Salary: 16-19 ph / 32,500 - 38,500 pa doe

Hours: 39 hour p/week (7:15 - 4:00pm Mon - Thur, 7:15 - 1:15pm Fri)

Overtime: Available at Premium Rates

Position Overview: We are searching for a Manual Turner for our client based near Aldershot, Hampshire. Working with powder compacts, this role will suit a skilled Toolmaker who has years of experience with manual turning.

Manual Turner Duties:

Working with manual lathes to complete componentsReading technical engineering drawings to ensure components are completed to specificationUsing handheld measuring tools to inspect components after turningFollowing H&S regulations at all times in the workshop

Manual Turner Profile:

Proven experience using manual lathes in a manufacturing environmentCapable of reading engineering drawingsInspection experience, using handheld toolsToolmaker apprenticeship background is beneficialAbility to work on Tungsten Carbide

The Company:

This company has been specialising in the manufacture of tungsten carbide hard metals and tungsten carbide products since the early 1950's. Used in engineering and industries from the petro-chemical to motorsport.
