Your new jobAs an Assistant / Management Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager in various financial tasks. You will be willing to take accountability for your responsibilities, rolling up your sleeves when needed to get the job done. Duties will include:

You will be supporting the Finance Manager with the production of accurate management accounts, including journals, accruals & prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations. You will also assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.Ad hoc analysis and financial project workYou will also be hands–on with some more transactional responsibilities including accounts payable, expenses, credit card reconciliations and bank reconciliations. A big focus on automation, improving systems and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy at month–end, to enable more time to be spent on value–add projects. What you'll need to succeedYou will have existing experience of month–end processes, e.g. journals, accruals & prepayments, as well as strong Excel and analytical skills. You will thrive in an innovative and fast–paced environment where priorities regularly change.
