Management Accountant Central Manchester (2 days) 45,000 - 50,000 + -10% bonus

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with an exciting business who have created a vacancy in their team for a Management Accountant. This is a culture driven business who's customers include some of the most recognisable brands in the UK.

The scope of this role will grow over time as you develop your skills and experience but some of your key responsibilities include:

Producing and being responsible for a variety of gross profit and overhead P&L cost centres and producing their monthly management accountsProduction of management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis and other supporting schedules)Detailed variance analysis including narrative (actuals vs budget vs forecast vs prior year)Full ownership of balance sheet including preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with quarterly P&L forecasting, budgets and 5 year plansPosting consolidated invoice journals/prepayments/accruals and various other month end journalsSupporting wider finance team and senior leadership with ad hoc improvment projects and reporting Budgeting, forecasting and reporting for internal and external stakeholdersIdentifying opportunities to improve finance processes and systemsMonthly meetings with the Exec team and P&L owners to discuss performance Person specification:
