Your new company is in the renewable energy sector and is currently on a growth trajectory within the UK market. Your new role is reporting to the Financial Controller and will have responsibility for the following :
Prepare monthly consolidated accounts, cashflow statements and associated management commentary.Support the preparation of bank compliance certificates in line with agreed facility agreements.Assist the annual tax, accounting, and audit year–end processes.Prepare payments and communicate supporting documentation to directors for approval.Company secretarial duties including production of board minutes, internal memos detailing cash distributions, etc.Own day–to–day relationship with third party O&M provider to ensure financial information is accurate, factual, and received on a timely basis.Complete the monthly to–do lists for each portfolio (e.g., confirmation statements, VAT returns, tax returns, compliance statements, audit processes, etc.).Ensure revenue is received promptly under terms of PPAs and ROCs.Assist in the maintenance of the rolling cash forecast in conjunction with client expectations.Prepare annual statutory accounts/review statutory accounts prepared by third party providers for each of the portfoliosMaintain relationship with third party operation and maintenance company ensuring that financial records are maintained, and site obligations are fulfilled. What you'll need to succeed is to be ACA /ACCA/CIMA Qualified with 1 –2 years post qualification experience, preferably Practice trained although this is not essential. You will also be able to exhibit the following :
