Working Hours 9.00am – 5.30pm – office based
The Role
To provide support to the Financial Director and Accounts function. The successful candidate is an experienced Management Accountant with over 3 years' experience working knowledge of Sage 50 and excel capable to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations• Credit card reconciliations• Dealing with motor expenses (pcn charges) and deductions from payroll• Adhere to period close deadlines• Take the accounts up to trial balance level• Experience with processing accruals and prepayments• To assist in the preparation of the management accounts• To be able to analyse direct costs and provide commentary on monthly trends
Skills & Knowledge• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken• Excellent ability to liaise professionally with clients• Experience in Microsoft packages and Accounting packages (Sage 50)• Part qualified or qualified (CIMA/ACCA) with good business acumen,• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise work• High level of numeracy and attention to detail• Excellent analytical skills• Ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines• Knowledge of financial tools• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work well in a team
Ideal but not Essential• Working in the property management sector would be advantageous• Experience working for a growing mid–sized business (e.g. headcount of 100–250 people)
