Purpose of the Role

This role is an integral part of the business and accountability for the financial control, management reporting, forecasting & budgeting.

This role will report into the Finance Business Partner and will act as a key business partner to the General Manager –as working closely across the wider Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities will include:

To lead preparation and completion of the period end financial results.Bridging monthly and weekly results against budget/forecast with commentaryProduce periodic forecasting in line with Group requirements with clear understanding of what is driving resultsAnnual budget preparation working closely with operational team and procurement managerWork with the Team to understand cost base trends and realistic target objectivesTake the lead on yearend audit requirementsDrive best practice in financial control over transactions and reporting, developing and documenting business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsOversee the collation of Financial KPISMonthly balance sheet reconciliation reviewsWork with the Operations team in supporting cost analysis / project analysis and contributing across the Monthly Management Meetings.Work with the FBP and General Manager in driving improvements and adding value through business analysis, bringing clarity and objectivity to decision makingLead, manage and coach a team of three direct reports to ensure they work to optimum performance levels and standards. Qualified or Part–Qualified CIMA / ACCASolid Management Accounting knowledgeGood commercial awarenessComfortable working with multiple IT systemsStrong Excel skills and ability to analyse data Desirable:
