Management Accountant
We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join this award winning, family run retail company with almost 50 years experience in the industry. This is position based at the UK Head Office in Kilburn, North West London.
The successful candidate will work with the Head of Finance to manage, maintain and develop the Finance Function for both UK & Eire businesses as well as the wider group, to ensure financial processes remain in line with business objectives.

What we re looking for:
Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Experience of leading and assisting others in the team
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programs
Hands on worker with the ability to prioritise work to achieve deadlines under pressure
Ideally experience in the Building Merchant/Property industry
Key responsibilities:
Preparation, development and delivery of UK and Irish Accounts & Forecasts with commentary, analytics and review.
Manage and maintain fixed asset registers, ensuring additions, disposals and depreciation are correctly accounted for.
Cash management, forecasting and authorising payments.
Support rebate recovery process and analysis.
Be a team player, supporting, developing and assisting the team.
Offer day-to-day guidance and support to a team of 10 staff also assisting with annual appraisals as required.
Help manage, maintain and develop the accounting systems working with internal and external IT providers as necessary.
Communicate key weekly and monthly reports to the business.
Help ensure the Company adheres to all reporting standards.
To flag issues, helping to develop and recommending changes so that we can continually improve existing processes and drive required improvements.
