MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT PART QUALIFIED / MANCHESTER / GBP30K + STUDY + BENEFITS

Exciting new opportunity for a passionate Management Accountant part qualified to join a rapidly growing, international organisation. This is an office-based role at our head office location in Manchester.

We are a market leading Automation and Drives repair company, with service centres in the UK, Europe, and the USA specialising in the diagnosis and repair of industrial power electronics.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our dynamic team. With a solid knowledge of accounting disciplines, you will play a key role in handling the day to day accounting activities and providing support to the Financial Controller.

PLEASE NOTE: The first stage of the interview process for this role will be in the form of a psychometric test. The test will be sent automatically upon application for the role and MUST be completed for the recruitment process to continue.

Free car parking on site. Key Responsibilities of the Part Qualified Management Accountant:

Provide Accounting support for the business for the UK, Europe & USA operations. Ensure bookkeeping is completed accurately and timely according to internal schedules. Ensure that all VAT returns are performed timely and accurately and submitted and paid on time. Ensure that payroll taxes are paid timely and accurately. Provide support on VAT, Corporate Tax, Personal Income Tax, and other tax matters as requested. Analyse and investigate revenue and cost variances. Prepare and post journals for accruals and prepayments for monthly management accounts. Support the business with financial information to aid decision making. Providing cover for the Financial Controller when required. Skills & Experience Required:

AAT qualified or equivalent and working towards a professional financial qualification (CIMA/ACCA). Previous experience of working in a finance environment with multiple companies and currencies. Previous experience of the engineering and electronics industry (desirable). Ability to work as part of a team with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure to achieve business deadlines with an accurate eye for detail. Use of MS Office & Google workspace. What's Next?
