Robert Walters is excited to be partnering with a dynamic and fast growing Multi–Million Pound Turnover PE Backed Renewable Energy Business based in Manchester, who are going through a sustained period of substantial growth and are looking for a Management Accountant to join their Finance Team! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well–established organisation who is continuing to see exponential growth and change.
The role reports directly into the Head of Finance alongside a highly collaborative Finance team and will see you working closely with key senior stakeholders of the business as well as building strong working relationships with the wider group across the UK and overseas. You will be responsible for the completion of the month end reporting for the UK and consolidation of financial statements for UK & overseas subsidiaries. You will be providing a professional and efficient service to senior stakeholders and provide accurate financial information across various internal departments as needed.
The role: Work directly with the Head of Finance & CFO to ensure smooth running of the accounts department within the UK & international operations. Production of monthly management accounts for the group for UK and South African Subsidiary, including consolidated accounts. Production of Statutory Financial Statements including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets. Assistance in the production of Financial Reports for the Senior Leadership Team. Monthly forecasting & budgeting for the group. Working closely with the FP&A Manager & wider Finance Team providing support where required. Business Partner with senior stakeholders, including the Sales, Billings & Project teams, being the regular point of contact concerning financial accounting and reporting queries. Assist with statutory audits as required.
The successful individual: Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant. Strong technical background with experience of implementing and maintaining strict financial controls. Excellent organisation & planning skills. The ability to build strong working relationships and influence senior leaders. System savvy ideally with exposure to systems & accounting packages. The ambition to succeed and grow within a marketing leading business.

You will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire & support teams across finance coupled with building positive relationships with teams and leaders across the business.
