Man with van available in Cambridgeshire, fully insured. Based in Milton, giving fast access to Cambridge itself. Operating for five years. I have been driving for nine years, and have no penalty points or convictions.

Van is a Ford Transit Mk7 with a long wheelbase and a high roof. Cargo bay dimensions: 320cm length, 175cm width, 175cm height.

= FEES:

WITHIN 10 MILES OF CAMBRIDGE:

Minimum fee 1 hour hire

Clock starts at beginning of loading.

£5 per 15 minutes for Self-loading

£5 per 10 minutes for Driver-assisted

OUTSIDE 10 MILES OF CAMBRIDGE:

Loading and unloading is timed, driving is not.

£5 per 15 minutes for Self-loading

£5 per 10 minutes for Driver-assisted

Travel is paid by distance, in both directions.

90p per mile.

Congestion charge, road toll and ultra-low-emission-zone fees will be added to total.

Available all week, including weekends.

Available between 9AM and 11:30PM. (For safety reasons I will not operate outside these hours.)

For ease of loading, ramps and a sackbarrow are kept in the van.

QUOTES AND PAYMENT POLICY:

I can give no-obligation quotes. In cases where multiple customers have asked for quotes covering the same period of time, I will take the job of whoever confirms their intent to hire me first.

Initial estimates are based on the information a customer gives me. Unless a fixed price is agreed before the trip, actual fee is subject to changes if the trip takes a different amount of time (or distance in the case of trips outside the 10 mile zone) than previously stated.

No haggling. My prices are based on what I believe is competitive, but also what is required for me to have a sustainable business.

= DEPOSITS POLICY:

For deliveries with an initial address outside the 10 mile zone, I will require a deposit. This will be based on distance to the address and back, at the rates shown above. Deposit is refundable if I am unable to perform the delivery service. It is not refundable if the customer is responsible for inability to perform the delivery service.

Deposits must be paid in advance of the delivery. They may be paid in cash, via PayPal, or via bank transfer.

= CANCELLATION POLICY

No harassment, insults or threats will be tolerated, and will result in immediate contract cancellation.

= LIABILITY POLICY:

For self-loading, the customer accepts all responsibility for the safe loading and unloading of items from the vehicle.

For driver assisted loading, I accept responsibility for the safe loading and unloading of the vehicle - in return, I will have final say over how the vehicle is loaded and unloaded.

= INSURANCE NOTICE:

Any items above £500 should be listed in an inventory sent to me before hiring. I reserve the right to cancel any delivery where this inventory is inaccurate or has not been provided.

If any of your items, through their loss, would result in consequential damage, you must make this clear at the time of contracting, or your loss will not be covered. I will then decide whether or not to accept the job.
