At Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, we have an exciting opening to join our team as a Maintenance Team Leader…

We are looking for someone who can commit to Full-Time, across 5 shifts per week (all hours worked are paid for). Being flexible would be a great plus as we are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days.

We are paying £13.65 per hour, all hours worked paid for.

As a Maintenance Team Leader your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting our Maintenance Manager to lead the team and ensure that our Hotel is a safe environment for guests and team members. As well as working on ad hoc-jobs and communicating with the wider Hotel teams to fix problems when they arise (and predicting them before they do!), you will also be responsible for the guidance and development of our Maintenance Team Members.

To smash this role out of the park, the key skills & experience you’ll ideally already have are:

Management or leadership experience, whether that be within a small or large team

Experience working as a Maintenance assistant, Plumber or Electrician within a Hotel environment

Knowledge of Health and Safety and passionate about ensuring a safe working environment

Willing to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team!
