We are looking for a Maintenance Person to work at our family run nursing home in Cobham, Surrey.

Ensure home and grounds are maintained to a safe and good standard of repair. Ensure that the safety and cleanliness in the home is to the satisfaction of the Environmental Health and Safety at Work Regulations. Manage major projects regarding improvement or repair to equipment and facilities. Liaise with contractors and suppliers as necessary. Carry out routine repairs and monitoring/auditing of all systems eg. Fire Control Log Book, COSHH etc Attend training days as required on current legislation and procedures eg. Moving and Handling, Fire Prevention etc. About you

Experience working in a Maintenance/Health and Safety role (additional specific skills training can be provided). Experience working with the elderly preferred but not essential. Caring and compassionate attitude for our residents. Good communication skills and a team player. Good standard of IT skills Live locally, within 10 miles of the home. Must be eligible to work in the UK as we cannot sponsor visa applications.
