Based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer who is looking to move onto a Monday to Friday, Standard Days role. The hours are either 7am to 3pm, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. 40 Hours per week.

The role will ensure the smooth running and maintenance of key production equipment, whilst delivering optimum plant reliability through preventative maintenance and electrical testing, including fault finding and problem solving.

Overall responsibility for the reliability of all equipment.Complete required planned and preventative maintenance.Review and update maintenance tasks.Carrying out fault finding and problem solving.Coaching and supporting the Technical Operator group to develop their technical skills.Specialist engineering knowledge and involvement in minor projects.Issuing of Permit to Work.Able to analyse data and trends to identify route cause of failures and put in place corrective actions and justifications.Responsible for preventative maintenance, electrical inspections, electrical testing and adherence to company policy.Competent in using computer based maintenance management system to input data and obtain reports.Technical knowledge must be up to date with the latest technology.Order required spares and repairs to a financial limit agreed with the Maintenance and Compliance Manager. Time served multi-skilled technician with an electrical bias.Electrical qualification and experience including 18th Edition, C&G 2391 - Inspection & Testing.Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.Proven diagnostic and fault finding skills.Excellent communication and decision making skills.Strong team player who champions a continuous improvement approach.Computer literate including use of Computerised Maintenance Systems.
