My client is a leading manufacturing organisation with an impressive history and a fantastic reputation across a multitude of industries that they serve.
Due to a range of innovative developments and investment, they are going through an extensive period of growth. This includes new production capabilities within the site.
They are now looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (either electrical or mechanical biased) to join their site in West Lothian. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting the engineering team in reaching a higher level of standard.
To be considered for this position, you must be open to working a continental shift pattern (4on 4 off, days and nights).

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment as defined by our PPM schedule to the highest standardWork as part of a mechanical/electrical team, to keep our plant availability in line with operational commitmentsAssist with machine improvement projects Monitor, fault find, maintain and repair a wide variety of equipment including pumps, gearboxes, and specialist treatment process machineryApply first level maintenance activities to all onsite assetsLarge plant complex repairsUsing Breathing Apparatus and working in confined spaces if required (Training will be provided if required)Development of new skills both in and outside of your core disciplineWorking on fixed plant on Water and Waste Water Treatment sites to fault find, repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment including pumps, gearboxes, and specialist treatment process machineryWork with other disciplines in a workshop teamFollow the business and departmental rules associated with workflow and managementAn awareness of health and safety and works in a manner that keeps you and those around you safeUse our computerised maintenance management system to organise workload and work order response Education & Experience:
All applicants should hold City & Guilds or similar vocational qualifications and have completed an apprenticeship or recognised training in mechanical discipline Relevant experience in a production / processing or manufacturing facility would be beneficialWell-developed interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams, to interact with colleagues and managers alikeExcellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to take and respond to direction as required
