We have an excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join a expanding manufacturing company based in Avonmouth. Our client are going through a period of growth and have various roles available - working either a double days shift or permanent nights (Mon to Fri). Reporting to the Production Manager, duties will include:

Duties of the Machine Operator will include:

Following drawings and work orders to cut materials to size and thicknessChecking materials and carrying out quality checksInspecting first off, using tape, micrometers and calliper instrumentsStamping and labelling finished goodsUsing FLT and some warehouse duties

The successful candidate will have previous machine operating experience and ideally have worked with metal parts and materials. You will be able to work from drawings and follow work instructions, as well as checking finished goods. In addition you will have good IT skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced, busy environment.
