This Machine Build Technician is working for an Electronics and Electrical Manufacturer in Portsmouth. The hours are 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish of 3:30pm on a Friday. The role is also paying up to GBP35,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will have a range of duties and responsibilities within their role as a Machine Build Technician. The main duty of this role is working within the experience team to build the specialised machines for the automated operations within the manufacturing facility. The successful candidate ideally has working knowledge of lathes, mills and drills, with supporting knowledge with fault finding electrically. The successful candidate will be required to work from engineering drawings and diagrams to build assemblies. Electrical schematics also need to be interpreted for building control systems. Experience with Pneumatics is also an advantage. The successful candidate will also need to test machines and work with commissioning engineers post build to ensure that machines work as designed.
