Hi there!

I'm based in Bristol, have been playing for years, guitar, and played for a band all through my 20's - Got some Radio6 play, toured and played festivals a little and gigged a lot.

I have a collection of songs that i'm building and keep writing that i think might really have some cool wings, and think an outfit with a violinist could really suit them! My idea is to get them going with violin, and then further down recruit drums and bass, at least, and have an outfit to play them and keep writing. I think it could really have something to it. (Electric would be a plus to gig).

If this is something you'd be interested in please get in touch! For influences really think guitar-ish bands from the last 7 decades! Loads to discuss but really kind of all things that owed something to rock and roll. The thought that inspired the idea of the violin was the Waterboys, to give some idea - I loved the Who growing up, The Lemonheads, Bowie, Ezra Furman, The Kinks, The Stooges, Neil Young, Dylan, Bright Eyes I loved when i was younger, The Faces, Elliott Smith, Velvet Underground.
