Elevation Procurement and Supply Chain are excited to be working with a fantastic company as they look to hire a Logistics Manager to their organisation based in Leeds.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all logistics operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and coordinating with production teams to ensure timely delivery of productsEnsure sound coordination with multidepartment leads (Supply Chain Manager and Customer Services) to efficiently rotate stock and drive turnover to improve outputDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of productsMonitor and constantly seek to improve KPI s to maximise output and profit for the businessEnsure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to warehouse & logistics operations Requirements:
Experience in logistics and warehouse management in a manufacturing environment ideally within process manufacturing or similarHold a H&S certification in IOSH as a minimum requirementHave 3PL Logistics Contract ExperienceHave Logistics Planning experience to maximize efficiency for cost and service delivery to customerStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train warehouse staffKnowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement warehouse performance metricsProficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Elevation Recruitment Group s Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
