Description

Are you an experienced logistics professional with a passion for sales and a network of contacts in the oil and gas industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Logistics Sales Manager in Aberdeen.

As a Logistics Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients in the oil and gas sector, offering them customised solutions for their international logistics needs. You will also work closely with our operations team to ensure the smooth delivery of our services and the satisfaction of our customers.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics, preferably in the oil and gas industryA proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business opportunitiesExcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skillsA strong knowledge of the logistics market and the challenges faced by the oil and gas sectorA valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Key Duties:

• To deliver new business gross margin to meet the agreed budgetary target of the oil & gas vertical.• To deliver increased gross margin from existing customers by account development in line with the budgeted growth of the company• To understand and articulate the compliment of services and solutions to potential and existing customers• In charge of specific communication tasks (sponsoring, events ) and participate in business promotion operations

Responsibilities:

• Create loyalty and optimise the existing portfolio• Acquire new oil & gas industry related customers through individual prospecting actions• Promote the new commercial offers• Answer to tenders in collaboration with the purchasing service• Advise customers on the transport offers according to their needs and offer the most adapted solution• Build and present proposals to customers• Achieve existing customer growth and new business targets• Pursue New Business development within the oil & gas vertical• To work in conjunction with the global oil & gas vertical network to deliver new business opportunities from existing network accounts.• Identify new opportunities and trade lanes in line with company procedures
