We are looking to recruit an Operations Support Administrator to work within our busy Logistics Office at Markham Vale. This is a mid-shift position working 8:30 - 17:30. however some flexibility to other shifts will be required to cover absences and holidays.
Main duties include:
Ensuring Key Control Procedures are followed for all incoming and outgoing trailer/containers; dock door management, directing drivers to the relevant bays and instructing them on site procedures, including Health & Safety.
Completion of all Goods In/Out relevant paperwork and ensure drivers leave site with the necessary paperwork correctly completed.
Manage delivery documents ensuring they are filed daily and shared with the team in Marden.
Liaising with the Inbound Management team in Marden, communicating any issues with delivery/supplier paperwork, incorrect deliveries and any shop floor queries.
Liaise with the Customer Care team in all matters relating to customer orders and the dispatch of goods.
Act as main point of contact for order collections by local customers. Ensure accurate records are maintained and any issues communicated appropriate
Experience & skills required:
Working within a logistics environment is desirable.
Good administrative skills.
Excellent telephone manner.
Computer literate with competency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
Extremely well organised with focus on customer service
