Our clients (a mature couple) are requiring a wonderful, long-term Live-in Domestic Couple to work at their beautiful large residence just outside of Oxford.

This role would suit a couple who have a caring and emphatic nature.

The Domestic Couple will comprise of a Housekeeper/Cook and Maintenance/Handyperson.

Responsibility of Housekeeper/Cook duties, not limited to:

Full housekeeping

Laundry & linen care

Cooking of fresh homemade meals, consisting of breakfast, lunch and 3-course dinner

When the principals are entertaining, the main meal will be served at lunchtime

Meals to include international cuisine and full dietary requirements

Ad hoc errands and duties

Maintenance/Gardener/Handyperson duties, not limited to:

Maintaining the upkeep of the grounds (external & internal)

Maintenance duties

Overseeing and managing external contractors

Assisting the full-time Gardener

Light repairs/DIY

Driving duties

Preparing for arrival/departure of the principal, family and guests

Providing security

Couple requirements:

Ideally both candidates will drive

Full clean driving licence

Loyal and trustworthy

Flexible and accommodating

Take pride in their work

Excellent references to be provided

Accommodation: Very pleasant 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom bungalow with laundry facilities, separate from the main house

Working hours: Split shift Thursday to Monday. Start time for Cook/Housekeeper 8.30am for tea, coffee as requested, breakfast a little later. A simple lunch (when required) will normally be around 1.00pm. Agree menus, shopping if necessary (use of work car provided), fit in housekeeping duties. 3:00pm finish (may finish earlier - flexibility required).

Return towards the end of the day to prepare and serve dinner, usually at 7.30pm, finish approx. 8:30pm.

Working Days: Thursday – Monday. Flexibility is essential.

Salary: £70,000 DOE
