Responsibilities:

As the lifting supervisor, you will ensure that all lifting operations are carried out according to the Method Statement and Risk Assessment, with clear and unambiguous instructions to all members of the team. You will be responsible for ensuring approval is obtained from 3rd parties as appropriate and reflected in documentation and team briefings. You will direct and supervise the lifting operation, giving clear and unambiguous instructions to all other members of the team. You will confirm that the geometry of the lift complies with the Method Statement (in the case of non-complex) or Lift Plan. You will ensure that there is clear communication between yourself and all team members. You will ensure that lifts involving multiple crane operations are controlled by one competent person only. The successful candidate will have:

Crane Supervisor Training (essential). AP qualification would be advantageous and an ability to write lift plans. Excellent knowledge of equipment and safety standards. Ability to plan and arrange rigging. Be fully conversant with the duties of all persons involved in the lifting operation. Extensive experience as a lifting supervisor with stationary and mobile crane lift experience. In return, our client offers:
