Aspire People are currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in mainstream or SEND school. The position is temporary with a possibility to become Permanent.
Our client is a small (only 30 pupils) independent SEND school serving children from 5-19 years old with Autism diagnosis and associated conditions, based within a rural area of Newark. It is essentially that you drive or can get to the schools daily due to no public transport available nearby.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or a Level 2 currently working towards a level 3 qualification. Experience is a mainstream or SEND school with clear understanding of national curriculum, as well as working knowledge and understanding of lesson planning and supporting resources is important for this school. SEN experience is highly desirable.
