The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on a wide variety of legal matters (UK only) – there will be a focus on drafting and negotiating contracts, managing disputes and claims, corporate housekeeping, and compliance programmes. On offer is a starting salary of up to GBP70,000 plus bonus and car allowance of GBP7,000.This is a UK remote role though domestic and international travel will be required. Please only apply if you are able to travel for roughly 20% of the working month.The duties of a Legal Counsel are: Support the UK operation with all legal matters.Handling commercial contracts – templates, draft, review and negotiate in all domains (sales, purchasing and real estate).Manage claims and disputes – legal actions (courts, arbitration, and mediation) with external lawyers, contribute to settlements and insurance.Supervise corporate housekeeping of UK entities (annual general assembly, D&O, and delegations)Work with the wider legal team on mergers and acquisitions.Oversee antitrust and compliance (anti–bribery, trade restrictions and GDPR).Support in the roll out of compliance programs.Provide the wider teams with user–friendly and clear legal guidance.
