In-House Legal Counsel

A leading media organisation are expanding their In-House Legal team, and as such are recruiting an In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel (2 years+ PQE) to join them. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and evolving organisation, with exciting new projects such as data mining/tech products.

The successful In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel will join a team of three others in the legal team. You will be responsible for a mixed case load including both project-led work and advisory on aspects such as:

The successful In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel will offer the following skill set/background:

Ideally 2-3 years PQEIdeally with some In-House experience, or seconded whilst working within Private Practice - not essentialExperience of advising on a range of commercial/IP matters, with minimal supervisionA clear, pragmatic approach to problem solvingCommercial awarenessA keen team playerIdeally experience of dealing with large brands - not essentialStrong communication skills, with ability to develop and maintain professional qualifications

The successful In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel will have the option of working largely remotely (should they so wish), and go to the Head Office in Kent a minimum of once per week. Applications will be considered from those who wish to work Full-Time or Part-Time.
