Learning Support Assistant - Colchester Area

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Learning Support Assistant close by to the Colchester area. This is a full time position starting in January 2024.

About the LSA Role:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant with experience working closely with students who require extra support. This is to work in a Secondary school on a permanent basis as soon as possible. Duties may require 1-1 support, as well as taking out intervention groups.

Location - Colchester, Essex Position - LSA Type of work - LSA Start date - January 2024 Contract type - ongoingFull time/part time - Full time Monday to FridayMinimum rate of pay - 70 per day

Experience, Training and Qualifications for the SEN TA role:

Previous experience working with visually impaired and hearing impaired students.You must be able to modify the pre-planned lessons with the use of braile and audio.Previous experience working within further education is desirable.A passion for working with students with SEND.Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
