We are recruiting for a full time Practitioner, Learning, Organisational and Culture Development. The role will play a vital part in building our Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC), a trail-blazing programme to use research to reduce health inequalities in London’s most densely populated borough.
This role will deliver an ambitious plan for the council and its partners. Working across a multi-sector partnership, the post-holder will help to establish a culture of learning and research. Their work will inspire and enable people to find, interpret, apply, create and share the best quality evidence of what matters to residents and what works to reduce health inequalities. This forms part of a vision for decision-making across the borough to be more informed by the evidence, ultimately leading to better health and reduced inequalities for residents.
The right candidate will design, develop and deliver change programmes leading to a positive research culture and increased impact for the council. They will also enable knowledge exchange, between the council, higher education institutions and the voluntary and community sector, building research literacy and skills and enabling us to put evidence into practice.
The post holder will need proven experience of designing and delivering tailored training programmes and of developing strategic and operational plans for organisational learning and development. They will have a deep and up-to-date understanding of culture change mechanisms in complex organisations, as well as experience of cross-sector working and an understanding of the voluntary and community sector.
