About the CMA

We help people, businesses, and the UK economy by promoting competitive markets and tackling unfair behaviour. Our work is wide ranging, ambitious and often new and challenging.

The role

As Learning and Development Manager, you will work within the CMA Academy, which is part of the Organisational Development team and is focused on creating an employee experience where everyone can contribute at their best.

Each Learning and Development Manager at the CMA is accountable for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programmes. You will focus on digital - supporting the development of skills and knowledge to aid our digital transformation programmes, enhancing the CMA Academy's digital skills programmes to increase the CMA's digital capabilities, and supporting colleagues responsible for regulation within digital markets.

You will deliver an integrated learning programme to the CMA which spans induction and onboarding, leadership, business skills, digital and analytical skills, professions, talent, inclusion, change and culture. The overall programme needs to meet the current and future needs of our growing organisation and support a culture of personal and career development.

What you will need

You should possess operational experience of leading, developing and managing organisational learning, culture and development programmes and projects with a digital focus.

Additionally, you must hold two relevant learning and development qualifications relating to:

• Digital transformation

• MS Office certifications

• Organisational / learning development

• Coaching at NQF level 5 or above

Experience of using technology to drive change and improve processes is also important, as is demonstrable experience of working across the full learning cycle. You will also be knowledgeable in designing and delivering a range of learning, using different methods, such as workshop, coaching, e-learning, action learning and blended learning.
